With alarming statistics shared with no relief in sight, it was apparent that we were going to have to think outside the box and find innovative ways to solve this problem… And that is exactly what Kyndra Light was doing.

In January 2021, the Tallahassee Chamber launched The Community Scorecard as a data-driven approach to measure our progress in the Tallahassee-Leon County area. This monthly report focuses on twelve key factors that have demonstrated proof in driving regional economies and success in other communities including jobs, industry diversification, poverty and crime rates, kindergarten readiness, third-grade reading scores, and post-secondary attainment rate.
